Here’s a quick 1-minute Loom that will walk you through how to delete an AWS instance.
For reference, that “Termination Protection” setting that we disable in order to permanently delete the instance is what keeps the instance from being permanently deleted. So as long as it’s enabled, the purpose of that is to prevent the instance from accidentally being permanently deleted. Disabling it enables us to finally delete the instance, once we’re done with it for good.
