The Client: Cozy Cove Massage Studio

Overview: To celebrate 5 years in business, local business owner Carla Meyers wanted to lift her rankings in Google search results and increase revenue by attracting new clients. The studio’s website had not been updated since 2013, and was nearly unusable on mobile devices. The studio was having difficulty attracting younger customers, while overpaying hundreds of dollars for Wix and an outdated online scheduler subscription. Gearing up to raise her prices, Carla wanted a new website that would position her as an expert on massage, improve her search engine optimization (SEO) and increase her revenue by attracting new clients.
The Challenge
Carla’s priority was maintaining the warmth of her old website (and studio!) on her new site. To update for 2018, a complete redesign was necessary, as the old site had relied on Flash and outdated designs that slowed page speed and were not search engine- friendly. How could we capture the spirit of Cozy Cove, using cutting-edge design and best practices?
The Solution
Stunning 4K photos of local scenery communicate warmth on the redesigned site. An on-site blog, launched to showcase Carla’s expertise, increases Cozy Cove’s SEO, and opens an additional revenue stream through Amazon Affiliate links. A Brand Identity Package including an A-Frame, posters & newspaper advertisements further reaches her target audience.
